Dr. Victor Jean Ouellette, DC, MS Retiring Certifications: DNM, RNP, Cert. Acup., first coined the term Pain Relief Diet in the 1990's to help his patients deal with pain more effectively. This was the first time this term was ever used to indicate there was a FoodPainConnection. Dr. Ouellette coined the term Wellness Risk in January 2018 to describe a measured subjective risk and a measured objective Wellness risk.



An online Wellness Web Assessment (TheQ.ca) measures Dr. Ouellette's Anti-Inflammatory Pain Relief Diet, among many other things, and the Health Advice Therapy web site provides direct one-on-one contact with the doctor. Dr. Ouellette's Anti-Inflammatory Pain Relief Diet becomes an effective menu plan tool for people to use on their own for Self-Help strategies, and a tool for clinicians to judge improvement in difficult clinical cases.

Some History

There is some interesting history on the origins of Dr. Ouellette's Anti-Inflammatory Pain Relief Diet. The diet started out with a small manuscript written by Dr. Ouellette called The Secret Diet for Pain Relief. That manuscript was used in a public lecture then developed into Dr. Ouellette's Pain Relief Diet Manual.

The web site PainReliefDiet.com was created in April 2002 and the book Dr. Ouellette's Pain Relief Diet Manual was published in May 2002 by OptimalHealthSecrets.com. The second book Cheating on Dr. Ouellette's Pain Relief Diet was published in 2006 by OptimalHealthSecrets.com. Then in 2014 both books were republished in the US at Xlibris.com using essentially the same data but then available in eBook version as well as paperback.
